Pastor Kenny Auyeung
Kenny is the Founding Pastor of New Life Now. In 2003, he graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University with honors, majored in the Bible, and Organizational Leadership. Since 2004, Kenny served as Minister of the Chinese Missionary Baptist Church, the mother-church of New Life Now.
Blessed with an entrepreneurial spirit, Kenny loves to encourage and build up people for Jesus. In 1999, he was a founding member of the Chinese-American Bible Church in New Jersey.
Kenny's ministry work included purchasing and expanding church building projects; launched outreach and community services including the Warriors basketball and volleyball sports programs for teens and young adults, Tai Chi Classes to serve the elderly, Action-Seekers to help the homeless, and TGiF Youth Center. His latest launch is D15:4, a ministry dear to his heart, is to help the homeless and the forgotten inspired by Deuteronomy 15:4, "There should be no poor among us..." This is a ministry that has taken off here in NY as well as Hong Kong as of Dec. 2015.
For relaxation and some r&r, playing the flugel horn and listening to Chris Botti and other trumpet musicians are some of Kenny's favorites. One of his treasured moments is singing off-key, Bee Gee classic with his three boys, with the car windows slightly rolled down. Kenny’s verse for life and life transformation, "For Christ's love compels me...that I should no longer live for my self, but for Him who died for me" 2 Corinthians 5:14-15.
