Warriors Basketball and NLN have made a positive impact on my life. It was the doings of coach kenny that has given me a chance to be on a team that has wonderful chemistry. Not only that, but the people in NLN, or as I'd like to call it, Family, are ones that also have had an impact on my life. Most of everything that goes on in this program builds my character and makes me the type of person I am. NLN and the basketball team help me figure out many things in my life and how to take things in certain ways. That comes from the messages during the Celebrations, or the hard working drills from basketball, or just plain good old advice from my family.

Warriors volleyball has given me the opportunity to work on my volleyball and leadership skills. I am still learning and I'm blessed with this opportunity. NLN provides such a wonderful and nurturing environment for us young adults and together we've become a family that goes through the good and bad times. At the end, we support and look out for each other. I'm very glad to have met you all and seeing you all grow up into fine volleyball players and individuals. Service has been a positive experience; I really enjoy the praise songs and appreciate that Kenny break it down to us about the messages that God is sending out to everyone. It really puts things into perspective and I can relate a lot to the things that Kenny is talking about. I look forward to every Sunday to chill with my NLN family.
